Music title--In April, 2010, over spring break, I read Song of Erin by B. J. Hoff. It's VERY long as it is a compilation of two stories under one title BUT I could hardly put it down. I love historical fiction; this author really captures the plight of Ireland, the lure of America, and immigration in the 1800's. It was a fascinating, riveting read as the character's lives intertwine and deal with their "baggage". It is also a great Christian fiction novel:)

I really enjoyed reading Plainsong. I wouldn't have discovered it without this challenge, so thanks!

My progress so far has been slow, I've been distracted by other things so now I'm trying to catch up before the challenge ends.

I've waited to the very end of the year to post these picture book titles. For music the book is
SHE SANG PROMISE. It's a picture book biography I wrote, illustrated by Lisa Desimini. We had a great time resdearching & writing this story of a woman who I've known for more than 20 years. I hope you like it & find it at your library.
